Our Social Code is crystal clear and should be easy to follow. However, we also want to be clear about the consequences if for any reason you fail to follow the rules:
- Verbal warning. In case of a minor violation or a first offence, we'll give you a verbal warning when we deem it necessary to give you a formal warning.
- Official written warning. You'll receive an official written warning for any serious breach of Lifely's Social Code. This also applies when you have reached the maximum of two verbal warnings and your behaviour hasn't improved. After one official written warning, we will move on to more serious measures like a suspension, or termination of employment.
- Suspension. We'll suspend your employment when you have committed a very serious offence, or when we need time to investigate a case. Your access to Lifely will be temporarily revoked until we've decided upon the measures to be taken.
- Termination. We'll terminate your employment in case of a very serious violation. These offences are mostly prohibited by law and because of the severity of the act, we have the power to terminate your contract effective immediately, or after an official written warning.
When do we apply these measures?
Which measure should be applied and for how long always depends on the situation and severity of the violation. These violations will lead to disciplinary actions, but this is by no means an exhaustive list:
- Any form of harassment including bullying, intimidation, malicious gossip, and victimisation of your colleagues, either inside or outside of the Studio.
- Any form of sexual harassment, inside or outside of the Studio.
- Any use of drugs and alcohol during work.
- Use of drugs during Lifely's outings and events.
- Any unacceptable behaviour towards our guests or clients.
- Stealing and fraud.
