Being a boutique full-service agency is challenging. Clients like to put small agencies in boxes they understand and can “control”. Therefore, it’s very easy to start a project as a Development expert, and never be able to get rid of this stigma. This project is aimed at breaking through that barrier and rethinking how design sits within Lifely.

Origin of the challenge: Doing fewer things much better.

In 2019 we decided to limit the scope of our services. The goal was twofold. First, offer services at a professional level without the need for a Hero’s journey. Second, create happy customers by under-promising, and over-delivering. We’ve been very successful in the execution of this strategy. However, this has put an increased emphasis on development work vs Design work.

We’re no longer the company that needs to do fewer things in order to become more professional. It’s time to expand our horizons and redefine where design sits in our solutions and services.
